Linda Costa is an accomplished taster and adviser to the South African olive industry. She is also an experienced producer of table olives and olive oil and runs the Devon Valley Olive Tree Nursery.
As a qualified health coach, she advises and presents on the nutritional benefits of olive oil and olives in the everyday diet. Recently she presented a paper on the synergies of olive oil and other food ingredients at The Olive Oil Conference in Chicago (see picture), - the most important olive oil conference in the USA. Linda is a member of the Register of Extra Virgin Olive Oil Savantes.
An Honourary Life Membership of the South African Olive Industry Association was awarded to Linda in 2010. She served on the South African Organoleptic Panel as a founding member and is often asked to judge oils and olives in competitions.
